Sayonara Tokyo

Goodbye Tokyo …Welcome Oslo

The toppling of Tokyo marks the end of an era. Since 1991 the Japanese capital has held the top spot.

A coffee in Oslo cost approx $2
A nice dinner with wine cost $300
A movie ticket cost $15

The five most expensive cities in the world are Oslo, Tokyo, Reykjavik, Osaka, Japan and Paris.

The five cheapest cities are Tehran, Manila, Karachi, Pakistan, Mumbai, India and Asuncion, Paraguay.

Mumbai the cheapest city in India? I doubt so…. Chennai is cheaper than Mumbai. A guy with Rs. 50 can survive a day in Chennai as well as a guy with 1 lakh

I agree with U. Chennai would win hands down when compared to Mumbai, Bangaloru or Delhi.

Not sure what factors were considered by this firm to evaluate the costliest & cheapest cities.
