Okay as promised, my take on the President Bush’s 6th and the Nations 217th state of the Union address.
Nothing impressive to talk about. Covered the same topics, war of terrorism, WMD, Iraq, Oil, healthcare, Medicare, Social security & Education.
Points missed out:
Just 1 minute on Katrina & gulf coast disaster.
No mention of the new Medicare program that went into effect from Jan 2006, for which he marketed heavy 2-year’s back. The program has got lot off complains from all quarters of American. truely Bipartisan.
Manufacturing industry.
He mentioned about alternate replaced for Oil, new education improvement programs, better Medicare facilities, how is he going to pay for him. ohhhh no, expect surprise in his budget.

Appointing 2 Supreme court Justice (John Roberts, Jr. , Samuel Alito ).
Appointing Federal reserve chairman (Ben Bernanke ).
Isn’t that an accomplishment.
